This 3D microphone was a collaboration with NYU’s Scientist in Residence Eric Rosenthal and Professor Paul Gelluso from NYU Steinhardt’s Music Technology program. Together we prototyped and fabricated a custom circuit board and microphone configuration that captured sound in three dimensions, with output channels of X, Y, Z and W.
